Hee seung “Haley” Lee, NURSE PRACTITIONER IN PSYCHIATRY
Hee Seung “Haley” Lee, NP is a Yale-trained, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who has been treating adults with mental health concerns for over 10 years in various outpatient and hospital settings. Haley is an experienced clinician helping individuals with mood and adjustment disorders, anxiety, stress, and trauma-related disorders, as well as ADHD.
Haley is bilingual in Korean and English and can also offer individual psychotherapy in Korean. As someone who was raised and educated in South Korea, she has a unique, personal understanding of Korean culture and the challenging immigrant experience.
In addition to her private practice work, she is currently staff at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center where she evaluates and stabilizes individuals with more urgent mental health needs. Her work in high-acuity settings has contributed to her sharp diagnostic skills and comprehensive evaluations. She believes a partnership between provider and patient is the most important aspect of mental health treatment.
Melissa ciccarello, licensed clinical social worker
Melissa Ciccarello, LCSW received her Masters in Social Work at Hunter College and has been an experienced psychotherapist and clinician treating New Yorkers for over 11 years.
In her current practice, she specializes in providing therapy for adults with depression, anxiety disorders, and difficulties with relationships and life transitions. She has a particular interest in treating women’s mental health concerns—including difficulties with infertility and family planning, pregnancy, postpartum, and the role transition to motherhood—drawing from her own experiences as a mother to provide empathy and support for women.
Trained intensively in the psychiatric emergency room (CPEP), she was known as a calming, compassionate, and relatable presence which is still reflected in her private practice work today.
